PEORIA, Ill. – The general manager for CityLink has stepped down from the role less than a year on the job.
25 News reports John Myers resigned on January 17th. He was appointed to the role in April of last year after working 35 years in public transit.
Director of Community Engagement and Public Relations ShamRA Robinson says the resignation was unexpected, adding they appreciate his contributions and wish him the best in the future.
Assistant General Manager Kofi Kisseh will be the interim general manager. Kisseh previously served as a Transportation Director in Rhode Island, and a Safety Training & Security Director in Massachusetts.
