PEORIA Ill. –
Peoria Police are actively searching for suspects from a weekend robbery in Peoria.
According to officers, just after 1:15am on Saturday, they responded to the Hardees fast-food restaurant on Northeast Adams Street regarding a report of an early burglary.
Information gathered at the scene indicated the suspect entered the business and took two cash registers before fleeing the area.
One register was recovered and collected as evidence in the vicinity of the business.
The Peoria Police Department requests help from the public in the identification of the suspect shown in the attached photos.
The suspect is a black male with facial hair, and is approximately 25-35 years old.
He is seen wearing a light-colored Nike hooded sweatshirt with the Nike swoosh logo, wearing the hood up, gray Nike sweatpants with the Nike swoosh in white lettering on the left pant leg.
The suspect is wearing black over white Nike tennis shoes and gray gloves on his hands.
