PEORIA, Ill. – A former neurosurgery resident in Peoria has pleaded guilty to reportedly filming female employees in a bathroom.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 30-year-old Henry Chang pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts of Unlawful Video Recording. As part of the plea deal, additional charges were dropped.
Police were called to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center on August 9th, 2023, regarding a camera discovered in an employee bathroom.
A female had reportedly found the camera on the floor, after it fell from its hiding place.
Police recovered several videos from the camera, showing different women using the bathroom that same day and Chang setting the camera up.
Chang is scheduled to be sentenced May 28th, and is facing up to six years in prison.
