BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Bloomington Police and the McLean County Coroner’s Office are investigating the deaths of four people who were found in a home late Sunday morning.
The police department released information Sunday evening on the investigation, but did not say how the four people died or if they have any suspects.
Officers were called to the 900 block of N. Lee Street around 11 a.m. Sunday.
The McLean County Coroner’s Office pronounced the four victims dead at the scene. Autopsies are still pending, and the victims’ names have not been released pending notification of family.
Bloomington Police said it was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives today. Our detectives continue to diligently investigate this unfortunate incident in an effort to get some answers for the victims’ loved ones and our community,” Bloomington Police Chief Jamal Simington said in a statement.
