PEORIA, Ill. – A man was arrested early Wednesday morning at a Peoria East Bluff house on weapons and drug charges.
Peoria Police says its Special Investigations Division and SWAT executed a search warrant on the 400-block of Republic at around 5:30 A.M.
Police say illegal drugs, a handgun, two rifles, a starter pistol, drug equipment, and multiple rounds of ammunition were seized after a search of the residence.
61-year-old Marvin Carter was arrested for three counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, Armed Violence, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver.
He was taken to the Peoria County Jail.
