PEORIA, Ill. – A man was injured after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Peoria.
Peoria Police say officers responded after eight shots were fired just before 1:30 P.M. in the area of Hayes and Griswold.
Officers did not initially find a victim. But a search located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.
The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Peoria Police have no suspects and are investigating.
