PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – Illinois State Police say a two vehicle crash on Interstate 74 Friday night was caused by a tree in the road as strong thunderstorms moved through the area.
ISP says the crash happened just after 10 p.m. just west of the Kickapoo exit.
State Police say an SUV and Ford sedan were both going east, when the Ford hit a tree in the road, and the SUV collided with the back of the sedan.
ISP says no injuries were reported, and there were no lane closures due to the crash.
