PEORIA, Ill. – The victim in a fatal pedestrian-versus-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Peoria has been identified.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says 66-year-old Deana Viano was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at Knoxville and East Orchard.
Harwood says Viano suffered multiple force trauma injuries and likely died instantly.
The crash occurred just before 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
The crash remains under investigation.
