PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – Beginning Monday, in Peoria County just west of Bartonville, the Pfeiffer Road Bridge will close for a rehabilitation project.
The work which continues through July includes replacing the deck beams and slope wall, repairs to the piers and abutments, and new bridge rails and guardrails.
A detour will be posted on Cameron Lane and Lancaster Road.

On Tuesday in Peoria, Radnor Road will close between Ridgeview Road and Alta Lane for pavement repairs at the railroad crossing.
Only residential traffic and emergency vehicles will have access to Radnor Road past Ridgeview Road to the railroad crossing and from Alta Lane to the railroad crossing.
The closure is scheduled, weather permitting, through Friday of next week.
Traffic on Radnor Road should use Allen Road from Alta Lane or Willow Knolls Drive instead.
