PEORIA, Ill. – One person was arrested after a shooting at a Peoria apartment complex early Saturday morning.
Peoria Police say officers responded to the Lexington Hills Apartments just before 12:30 A.M.
They arrived to find a 26-year-old inside a residence with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
During the investigation, an adult male was arrested for Aggravated Battery and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
The shooting remains under investigation.
