PEORIA, Ill. – A teenager was arrested Wednesday after allegedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
Peoria Police says officers responded to the area of University and Columbia Terrace just before 7:30 A.M.
Police made contact with the vehicle’s owner, who was able to track it.
The vehicle was later found nearby in the area of Glenwood and Parkside, along with two other stolen vehicles.
A 16-year-old who matched the description of one of the suspects was spotted by police was arrested for Motor Vehicle Theft and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
The 16-year-old was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Two other suspects were not found by police.
