PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria firefighters were called to an accident with injuries Friday night at the intersection of Adams and Western Avenue.
Fire Battalion Chief Phil Snowden says crews arrived around 7:45 p.m., finding several people who were involved in the crash, one of them trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters used rescue tools to remove the door of the vehicle to get the patient out. All of the occupants were taken to a hospital by AMT for evaluation.
