PEORIA, Ill. โ Police arrested a man Friday morning after he allegedly kicked in the door of a Peoria home, stole the victimโs vehicle, and led officers on a chase.
PPD Spokesperson Semone Roth says police responded just before 7:30 a.m. Friday to SW Martin Drive on reports of a home invasion.
A short time later, with the assistance of a License Plate Reader, officers found the stolen vehicle on W. Hansler, but as they approached the vehicle, it sped off at a high rate of speed.
