PEORIA, Ill. – A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an alleged business burglary in Peoria.
Peoria police say officers responded to a business alarm in the 3300 block of N. Sterling around 2:35 a.m. Friday and found that Bazaar Tobacco Shop had been broken into and entry had been made.
During their investigation. officer found the 16-year-old in the 3400 block of Dries Lane. A search of the suspect resulted in officers finding stolen items from the business.
The boy was transported to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of business burglary and criminal damage to property.
