PEORIA, Ill. – Police are investigating a stabbing Saturday afternoon in downtown Peoria.
A PPD spokesperson said that a male victim suffered a “small” non-life-threatening stab wound to the back. Officers found him in the 100 block of SW Jefferson Avenue just after 1:30 p.m.
Police say the victim, whose age was not available, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
No suspect information was released.
