PEORIA, Ill. – On Thursday, CityLink is celebrating Passenger Appreciation Day, by offering free rides on all fixed-route buses.
CityLink is also having a special giveaway for passengers, with items available at the Transit Center in downtown Peoria.
CityLink’s Passenger Appreciation Day is held each year in honor of former CityLink General Manager Jerome Lilly, who passed away unexpectedly in 2007.
Passenger Appreciation Day is an opportunity for CityLink to thank passengers for their continued loyalty, and to honor Lilly, a man who dedicated his professional life to CityLink.
Passengers are encouraged to stop by the Transit Center, located at 407 SW Adams Street, Peoria, between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Thursday to receive a free gift while they last.
