PEORIA, Ill. –There’s a threat of severe thunderstorms Friday night across Central Illinois.
25 News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins says scattered strong to severe storms will approach the Illinois River after 9 p.m.
“The tornado threat is low, but not zero. Primary threats include damaging winds of 60 miles per hour and quarter-size hail,” Collins says.
The storm system will become stationary to our south, but we’ll be close enough to it to get rain on Saturday and Easter Sunday.
