PEORIA, Ill. โ Another round of lane reductions will greet area motorists Monday.
A routine bridge inspection of the westbound McClugage Bridge will take place all this week with daily lane closures.
IDOT says there will not be a demolition event at the old westbound span this week. The next blast, the fourth of eight planned events, will take place the following week. The exact date and time has not been scheduled.
Daytime lane closure beginning at 7 a.m. Monday on Moss Avenue in Peoria will effectively close Moss Avenue to all traffic between Cooper Street and Western Avenue.
The closures are necessary as part of the Moss Avenue Reconstruction Project and are expected to last two weeks.
Moss Avenue will be reopened to one-lane, one-way traffic at the end of each day.
Additionally, lane closures are scheduled to begin Monday in East Peoria.
