At the Movies with Casey Foreman: “Sinners”

Coogler and Jordan absolutely KILLED in this unique vampire horror that’s set in the 1920’s.

This is not your run in the mill, vampire movie from the 2010’s – it’s an all-timer – thanks to performances from Michael B. Jordan, Haliee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, and the rest of the cast.

Coogler continues to put out banger after banger.

My only issue with this film was the pacing, at times, feels a bit off.

Just slightly, nothing major.

What I was most impressed by was the use of music in the story – and the dueling performances from B. Jordan.

Both, WOW.

Horror wasn’t anything intense, but felt just right.
