PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are looking for who was responsible for a home invasion early Friday morning that injured two people.
Officers responded just before 3:30 A.M. to the area of Woodview and Merrimac.
Two adult males told police they were awakened by multiple male suspects inside their home, reportedly wearing face masks and armed with guns.
The suspects reportedly took personal items from the home and fled.
Both victims suffered minor injuries, with one taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Officers searched the area with a drone, but did not find any suspects.
