PEORIA, Ill. – One man was arrested after allegedly burglarizing a business in Peoria’s East Bluff.
Peoria and Peoria Heights Police were called to the area of Virginia and Indiana Monday, just after 8:30 A.M. on reports of a burglary.
Officers found a vehicle reported stolen to Peoria Heights at the back of the business.
A male identified as 29-year-old Bryson Lathum was then found during a search, allegedly in possession of property belonging to the business owner and the keys to the stolen vehicle.
Peoria Heights Police arrested Lathum on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Vehicular Invasion. Peoria Police arrested him for Criminal Damage to Property and two counts of Burglary.
Lathum was taken to the Peoria County Jail.
