PEORIA, Ill. – One person was injured after a shooting near the former Quest Charter Academy Middle School on Thursday.
Peoria Police has not released many details, but do say a male was shot and was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
25 News reports the victim is an 18-year-old who was shot in the back, after 17 shots were fired in the area of Gift and Bootz.
