WASHINGTON, Ill. – Good news is worth waiting for.
Washington High School juniors Isaac DeSutter and Grady Hahn had trouble finding their ACT scores on line. This, weeks after their peers had received their scores.
But, once they were able to finally access their scores, they discovered they each had a perfect 36.
DeSutter had some advice for future test takers.
“Thankfully for the science part, you don’t have to worry about going back and study anything,” DeSutter told 25 News, “because it’s not about the specific scientific knowledge, it’s about logical and analytical ways of scientific thinking.”
Hahn was also asked that other test takers should know.
“I would recommend just taking some practice tests, seeing what questions, what types there are. That honestly really helped me.”
Following high school, DeSutter would like to study engineering or computer science.
Hahn wants to pursue computer science or cybersecurity.
This school year, Illinois students switched from taking the SAT to the ACT.
