PEKIN, Ill. – Pekin police says they are looking for a man who allegedly pointed a gun at a resident.
Police say officers responded to a house in the 1300 block of South 13th Street.
The homeowner said that he spotted a man in the backyard of his residence and asked him to leave. After the two exchanged words, the suspect pulled a handgun from his waistband and pointed it at him before running off.
There were no injuries and no shots were fired.
Police later identified the suspect as Brad Denham (pictured).
The Pekin Police Department has probable cause to arrest Denham and he also has an active warrant. He is known to frequent both the Pekin and Peoria areas.
Denham is described as 5-foot-6, weighing 150 pounds with a distinctive neck tattoo spelling “LOYAL” across his throat.
