KEWANEE, Ill. – The Henry County Coroner has confirmed that a body found last week was that of a Kewanee man who recently went missing.
As previously reported, 39-year-old Catrelle Reed went missing on May 22, and was last heard from earlier that day.
According to Kewanee Police, a concerned citizen found the body Friday during a coordinated search west of Kewanee.
Though the coroner conducted an autopsy, Reed’s cause of death was not released.
Police are still investigating the circumstances leading up to Reed’s disappearance and death.
