EAST PEORIA, Ill. – An East Peoria man has been arrested after allegedly leaving the scene of a traffic crash with injuries.
East Peoria Police says the crash happened Monday just after 10:15 P.M. on Eastside Drive for a motorcycle versus SUV crash.
Police found a 41-year-old male motorcycle rider with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, but the SUV involved had left the scene.
The SUV was later found after an investigation, and its driver, 32-year-old Dalton Johnston was arrested.
Johnston is charged with Aggravated Driving Under the Influence and Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury Accident. He was taken to the Tazewell County Justice Center.
