PEORIA, Ill. – Ongoing construction of the new Peoria Fire Station 16 will result in a change in traffic patterns on Northmoor Road.
Intermittent daytime lane closures on Northmoor near Hamilton Road will begin at 7 a.m. Monday.
A crane will be parked and steel beams will be placed Monday and Tuesday.
Normal traffic is expected to resume Wednesday, weather permitting.
Also, the Illinois Department of Transportation has scheduled routine bridge inspections this week on the Route 9/McNaughton Bridge in Pekin.
Beginning Monday and continuing each day through the week, the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction during the day.
