PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – The Peoria County coroner has identified the 30-year-old Chillicothe woman killed in a head-on crash Friday morning in Peoria Heights.
In a statement on Facebook, Coroner Jamie Harwood said Raven Jackson was pronounced dead on Rt. 29 and Riverview Road despite “heroic efforts” at the scene.
Harwood said Jackson was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, but suffered multiple blunt force injuries when her vehicle collided with a pickup truck. The other driver was taken to a hospital with injuries.
