PEORIA, Ill. – A boil order is in effect for residents near Bradley University.
Illinois American Water says it’s due to emergency repairs being made after a main break Tuesday morning.
Affected areas include Moss Avenue between Western and MacArthur, and streets between Bradley and Moss.
The repairs are expected to be completed by the afternoon, but the boil order is estimated to end on Thursday.
Residents under the boil order should bring water for drinking or cooking to a rolling boil for five minutes.
