PEORIA, Ill. – A second arrest has been made in connection to a shooting death on Peoria’s South Side last week.
Peoria Police says 18-year-old Kemareon Bell was identified as a suspect in the death of 20-year-old Teron Scott.
Police say Bell was arrested just after 5:45 P.M. Monday in the area of Wilcox and Machin, and is charged with First Degree Murder.
The shooting occurred just before 2:45 A.M. Friday in the area of MacArthur and McBean.
Scott was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in a car that crashed into a tree in Martin Luther King Junior Park.
20-year-old Christopher Adams was taken into custody later in the day on Friday in connection and also charged with First Degree Murder.
