PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – The Illinois Fire Marshal’s Office is helping to investigate several “suspicious” vehicle fires that happened early Thursday morning in Peoria County.
Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins says the fires happened around 2 a.m. Thursday in the lot outside Foster’s Service on W. Farmington Road in West Peoria.
Three vehicles, two SUVs and a car, were damaged in the fires. The incident is being investigated as a possible arson.
The Limestone and West Peoria Fire Departments put out the fire in under 45 minutes.
There are no suspects at this time.
