PEORIA HEIGHTS, Ill. – A Peoria Heights restaurant is vowing to come back after a fire damaged its building earlier this month.
In a post on its website, Peoria Pizza Works says, as of Friday, the restaurant and its equipment can be repairable.
There is no timeframe yet on when the work will be completed, as the restaurant is waiting on word from its insurance company on how to move forward.
A fire in the early morning hours of June 6th left extensive damage to its music room and smoke damage throughout the building.
The restaurant says there is no official cause of the fire, and adds that it’s possible a cause may never be known.
