PEORIA, Ill. – A fire in Peoria’s West Bluff sent two adults and two children to the hospital for smoke inhalation Monday night.
Fire Battalion Chief Josh Martin says crews responded just after 6 p.m., finding a home in the area of W. Thrush Avenue and N. Sheridan Road on fire.
Martin says the fire started in an upstairs bedroom.
All four occupants were listed in stable condition. No other injuries were reported at the scene.
Damage to the home is estimated at $60,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
