PEORIA, Ill – The St. Jude Telethon continues to set records.
Saturday’s 48th annual event on WEEK-TV signed off with a record $12,134,722 raised, up over a half-million dollars over the 2024 amount.
In its 48-year history, the St. Jude Telethon has raised a total of $203 million.
The St. Jude Runs collected a total of $6,508,376 with the Memphis-to-Peoria run comprising $1,567,840 on its own.
Money raised goes toward treatment and research into childhood cancer through the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis and the Jim and Trudy Maloof St. Jude Midwest Affiliate at OSF Healthcare Children’s Hospital of Illinois in Peoria.
