PEORIA, Ill. – A woman has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a man in the hand Sunday afternoon in Peoria.
Peoria Police says the 26-year-old male victim was found upon arrival by officers just after noon in the area of Woodhill Lane and Molleck.
The victim was treated at the scene and declined further medical help.
20-year-old Talena Willis was identified as the suspect. Peoria Police say she fled the scene before police arrived, but was found and taken into custody a short time later.
She was arrested for Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery, and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
