PEORIA, Ill. – One person has been arrested and another remains at large after a shooting Wednesday morning in Peoria.
Officers responded just before 9:00 A.M. to Shipman and Martin Luther King Junior Drive after 17 shots were fired within a minute.
No victims were found, but one of the suspects, 55-year-old William Drummond was taken into custody.
A search of Drummond’s flight path allegedly turned up a discarded firearm.
Drummond was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.
A second suspect in the incident has not been located.
