PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the area of W. Harper Terrace and W. Overbrook Drive early Sunday morning.
Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says officers arrived just before 7 a.m., finding a 47-year-old man with a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A short time later, PPD found a suspect identified as 40-year-old Elizabeth Brown in the area of Western Avenue and Forrest Hill.
Brown was arrested for home invasion, aggravated domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, and criminal damage to property.
Brown was taken to the Peoria County Jail.
