PEORIA, Ill. – One of Peoria’s Shoppes at Grand Prairie stores will be closing for good soon.
25 News reports that the Peoria location of At Home on War Memorial is one of 29 “underperforming” locations set to close by the end of the month. The store opened in 2022.
It’s one of three Illinois locations closing, including Geneva and Crestwood.
At Home filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June.
The retailer cites rising interest rates, ”persistent inflation,” and the effect of increased tariffs for its bankruptcy.
