EAST PEORIA, Ill. – A mini-golf entertainment hub in East Peoria is getting help from the city to grow.
In its consent agenda Tuesday night, the city council approved $500,000 from its Revolving Loan Fund to go towards The Putt Club.
The owners requested the loan to remodel the indoor entertainment area, which sees greater demand during bad weather and the colder months of the year.
The project is expected to cost around $800,000. The loan’s term is five years with an interest rate of 5%.
