A 19-year-old man suffered a graze wound in a shooting on Peoria’s south side Saturday afternoon.
Peoria Police responded to two separate Shotspotter activations within minutes of each other. The first detected 14 shots in the 2600 block of West Krause at 4:01 p.m. Two minutes later, a second activation recorded four shots in the 2200 block of West Malone.
The victim arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle with a graze wound to the buttocks. He told police he was shot on West Malone.
His injuries are non-life-threatening.
Police have not released any suspect information. The incident remains under investigation.
