PEORIA, Ill. – As of 12:30 p.m., over 1,700 Ameren Illinois customers were without power in North Peoria on Wednesday.
The Ameren Outage Map showed outage reports in the Alta area. Ameren said the company was notified of the outage just before 11 a.m. At the height of the midday outage, over 2,700 customers were in the dark.
Ameren Illinois is investigating the cause of the power outage and has not posted an estimated time of restoration.
