PEORIA, Ill. – There were no injuries after a porch fire in Peoria’s Averyville neighborhood Monday afternoon.
Peoria Fire says crews responded to Spitznagle and Monroe just before 4:30 P.M., finding smoke from the exterior porch, with fire involving some of the house’s siding.
The siding was removed to put the fire out.
There was minimal damage to the home’s interior.
The fire was determined unintentional and power was turned off to the home as a precaution.
