PEORIA, Ill. – A Bartonville coach has been charged with allegedly making inappropriate conduct with a minor earlier this year.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says 22-year-old Aydan Trueblood is charged with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault. He was ordered to remain in jail at a detention hearing on Monday.
Prosecutors say that Bartonville Police received a tip about the alleged inappropriate conduct on November 9th. Trueblood allegedly was a coach in a youth sports program the victim was in.
Prosecutors say a forensic interview on November 14th at the Child Advocacy Center allegedly revealed that Trueblood and the victim talked through Snapchat, and she had snuck out of her home to meet him.
Trueblood allegedly drove the victim to his parents’ home, where the assault reportedly took place.
Trueblood was arrested on November 26th, and allegedly admitted to the assault occurring in February, as well as sending explicit photos to the victim.
