PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with an armed robbery and assault that occurred more than a month ago.
On Friday, November 21, 2025, at approximately 9:37 p.m., Peoria Police officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of North Missouri Avenue regarding a report of an armed robbery that had occurred earlier in the evening.
Upon arrival, officers contacted a 17-year-old male victim who reported being approached by five male subjects, all armed with handguns. The suspects forcibly took the victim’s personal belongings and hit him before fleeing the area on foot.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area at the time, but the suspects were not located.
As a result of continued investigation, detectives identified and arrested two juvenile suspects.
The suspects were identified as a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Peoria Police Department for interviews.
Both suspects face charges of armed robbery and resisting arrest, while the 15-year-old faces additional charges of aggravated battery.
The two teens were transported to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center.
The victim reported being approached by five armed individuals during the November incident. With two juveniles now in custody, three suspects remain unaccounted for.
