GOODFIELD, Ill. – Three teenagers have been arrested in Woodford County for allegedly having two stolen vehicles in connection to a death at a towing business last year.
On Saturday, Goodfield Police announced the arrests of 19-year-old Marcus King, 18-year-old Terrance Shaw, and 18-year-old Xzavier Dillard, along with five juveniles, after an eight-month investigation.
Shaw was previously charged in Peoria County for the death of 70-year-old William Collier of Bartonville at Billie Jo’s Towing.
Goodfield Police says they were notified in June of last year that a stolen vehicle from Peoria was tracked to the Shell in Goodfield, and discovered a second stolen vehicle during a chase.
The chase was terminated out of safety concerns as they approached Peoria.
Goodfield Police later learned through the Greater Peoria Auto Crimes Taskforce at least one of the stolen vehicles was connected to the incident at Billie Jo’s Towing.
