PEORIA, Ill. (25 News) – A former pastor of Riverside Community Church found himself in an emptier courtroom Thursday afternoon as he pleaded not guilty to distributing harmful materials of himself to a minor.
48-year-old Michael Ritchason is accused of sending sexually explicit photos of himself to a minor last summer.
25 News reports that Ritchason appeared confident in court, accompanied by his private attorney, and two women.
He remains out of prison on a conditional release, requiring him to hand over his phone and social media accounts for searches at any time.
Ritchason is scheduled to be back in court on Thursday, March 19.
