PEORIA, Ill. – A man was arrested after a road rage incident Thursday afternoon in Peoria.
Peoria Police says the incident occurred in the area of Sheridan and Lake just after 12:45 P.M.
The adult male victim reportedly told police that an unknown male in a separate vehicle displayed a firearm equipped with an extended firearm, then allegedly pointed it in his direction before fleeing the area.
The suspect vehicle with two people inside it was later stopped by police at University and War Memorial. Police say a search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of a loaded firearm with an extended magazine.
Police say 25-year-old Natrell Hogan-Pierce was then arrested for two counts of Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and taken to the Peoria County Jail.
