PEORIA, Ill. – Four people were taken into custody after a reported armed robbery early Thursday morning in Peoria’s East Bluff
Peoria Police says officers were dispatched just before 5:00 A.M. in the area of Wisconsin and Nebraska.
Police learned three of the suspects fled in a vehicle that crashed a few blocks away from the scene, then took them in custody.
Police say the fourth suspect barricaded himself inside a nearby apartment, and was taken into custody several hours later after a SWAT team made entry.
No other information from police is available at this time.
