The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office has cancelled the traffic collision alert for Peoria
County.
Citizens that were involved in vehicle crashes should report the accident in person to the records bureau at the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office at 301 N. Maxwell Road as soon as reasonably possible, but within 48 hours of the conclusion of the alert.
PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Traffic Collision Alert, mostly for conditions in the northern part of the county.
Sheriff Chris Watkins says several vehicles are in ditches on Rt. 40 and Hallock Hollow. That area is experiencing nearly white out conditions due to blowing snow.
One vehicle was also reported in a ditch just west of Brimfield Monday morning.
Anyone involved in a crash without injuries should exchange information and report the accident in person at the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, as soon as possible, but within 48 hours of the conclusion of the alert.
