PEORIA, Ill. – An investigation is underway after a woman was stabbed early Saturday morning in Peoria.
Peoria Police say a 36-year-old woman was found inside a residence with two stab wounds to her upper arm in the area of Paris and Columbus, just after 3:00 A.M.
The woman told police she was reportedly approached by an unknown male nearby in the area of Prospect and Paris, where the male allegedly robbed her of personal belongings and stabbed her.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
